Where's your inner child?

Hello Elizabeth, Susi, Valerie, Rosie! Hello My Lovelies!

How are you all? Hope you are well!Well, it's Carnaval here and it's time to dance and celebrate. Let your inner child play because everything is possible if you keep your dreams in your heart and your eyes open to life.

I drew the girl, the branch with flowers and owl, the lovely tiger. The grass and flowers are made of foam, the hanging pot and cup are made of fabric. I could have designed everything but I love mixing things. I always tell my daughter that the only possession she's going to inherit is my journals. They will keep me alive when I'm gone. They are the proof of my existence.

Some photos of our Carnaval

Now photos of my family

  1. Hi Carla, what a wonderful post! Love the journal pages, and all the photos. It's carnival here in Rhineland, too, lots of celebrating, processions etc. A lot of people will wake up with big hangovers tomorrow. Thanks for the personal greeting, and for joining us at AJJ. Oh, love your ears! Hugs, Valerie

  2. Wow Karla, what a kick of colour greeted me, and here it is night time, almost 11:30pm and your post has woken me with a smile. Glorious colours, beautiful smiles and a beautiful family. How happy everybody is. We don't have such carnivals here, except perhaps the Notting hill Carnival in London that I have never seen, but not the rest of the country. I wish there were. I hope you all enjoy as much as you can. Does the carnival last just the one day or several. Happy T Day :o)

    1. Carnaval lasts 4/5 days depending where you are here. It's a holiday and it may sound weird but the whole country stops to celebrate it. Some people travel trying to escape from Carnival. It's contagious!

  4. How fun to see how YOU celebrate Carnival. That's how I picture it. After all, where you live is really the seat of Carnival in So America. I love all the photos and the energy of the day. Your new ears are great. Loved seeing your beautiful face, too.

I promise to never grow up, just as your little girl asks of us. Thanks for sharing this lovely day with us for T this Tuesday.
