Hello my T.Friends!

 How are you today?Hope life has been treating you well. I created a cut and paste collage page inspired by T stands for Tuesday. I made some other collages which I will show you soon.

 Last Friday I went to Patricia Piccini's exhibition "ComCiência".She blends hyper-realism and surrealism.Her sculptures and work include human-animal- plant hybrid figures and anthromorphized machines.The sculptures are in fiber glass and sylicon and they are fantastic. Patricia is from Australia.

Art Journal Journey invited us to play with maps. I chose the map of my own country.The girl wearing mask depicts our carnival, the ball stands for our soccer, the birds symbolize our beautiful fauna and the ribbon is a tribute to Our Lady of Aparecida: our patron saint. Her ribbon is a talisman which brings good luck. It grants you three wishes as long as you wear it around your wrist till it drops off. We are very supertitious.

T stands for Winter

Hello My T-Friends!

It's been awhile since I linked up with T stands for Tuesday. Mum was in hospital. She had pneumonia. Now she's at home. I am on a license to take care of her. She's better but it's been very cold (yeah Winter is here!) and tomorrow we have an appointment with doc to check her lungs. Below there are some photos of mum when she came back home. We gave her a bouquet of roses.

Here we are on a cold Sunday morning (my girls and me)

This is the view from my window today at 12:00 pm.It's been like that for a couple of weeks. It's snowing in the south of Brazil.

And yes, I love Winter!
