T stands for Beauty
Good Morning My T-Friends!
First of all I'd like to apologise for not being able to leave you all some comments but life has been quite hectic since I came back to work. I only have saturdays and sundays to create something or when I have some time during the week. Apart from that, things are not that easy here. Discontentment is everywhere. Resentment too specially with the new horrible social security measures which establishes a minimum retirement age (65). I miss President Dilma Rousseff. She cared for my people. She fought during dictatorship and she will always be an icon for me.
I'd like to share some watercolor creations from my poetry book but I must confess I haven't written a single line. Poetry is so far away from me right now. There's a havoc in my heart and my muse left me. So there's no inspiration in my life.
But I am grateful there's always a new tomorrow and a new possibility for me and for everybody around the word.
Much Love,
Karla

T stands for faces, poetry and art
Hello Elizabeth! Hello everyone!
How are you today? Hope life has been treating you well. Don't you think time is flying this year? Can't believe spring starts next week. Elizabeth, this drawing [face 13] was inspired by T stands for Tuesday and it is also for 29 Faces. I don't have much to say but I'd like to tell you my furry friend is well. She had to face an amputation. She is adapted to her new life: she runs and jumps too. Needless to say I am happy!
On Saturday I went to a Music, Art and Poetry Gathering. I met some friends who are also poets and we recited our poems. It was such a lovely evening. I love poetry. Do you like poetry, my lovelies? Poetry saves us. It is like air in my opinion.
Here we are. A friend of mine dressed like Frida. We paid a tribute to her. What a great woman she was! I am by Frida's side.
Here I am reading one of my poems.
Brazilian flowers to brighten your day. My daughter took this photo.
Have a magical day!
Karla
