Love Today
An incredible artist whose work is amazing is Stephanie Rubiano.
"She is a mixed media artist who creates dimensional works within shadow boxes using a variety of uncommon objects. Her love of nature and fascination with Victorian photography is apparent through her combination of antique photographs and real butterfly or moth wings."

So, inspired by Rubiano's work, I created the piece above.

Inspired by Patrícia Ariel
Another artist I love is Patrícia Ariel. She is Brazilian like me. Patrícia Ariel on her art:
“Whenever I wanted answers or inspiration for life and art, it was not in the mundane or in the ordinary life that I looked for them, but in the unlimited world of my inner reality. This world, inhabited by mysterious places and people, has its own stories, its own rules, its own wisdom. I am only the storyteller.
I think of my art as a celebration of the human experience in what they have of sacred and profane. To me, there is nothing more fascinating than the mystery; this is the basic source of all my reflections and explorations. In my work I constantly investigate the point of contact between the physical and the reality of dreams, spirituality, and abstract concepts. Themes like transformation and transitions, the human duality, spiritual and emotional experiences, and the ties of man with nature and the raw forces of life are often explored. Since I focus primarily on the female figure, I can say that my work is also about the female experience according to my own vision of the feminine: power, creation, energy, witchcraft, life. The characters I create embody forces of nature. They are sorceresses, ethereal beings, bearers of darkness and light.”
Below you can see some of her paintings:

Love & Compassion
I have been quite inspired lately and journaling is a passion. I caught myself thinking about love and compassion: two rare feelings in a world where so many forgot where their hearts are.We can't live without both feelings: the first makes us walk without our feet and the second makes us touch the other with our hearts. My mother and father taught me both and I am grateful to them because they have made my life more meaningful.

A La Svenja Jodicke
Inspiration Avenue challenged us to create something in the style of our favourite artist but I love many artists so I chose Svenja Jodicke. She was born in Germany and uses watercolor techniques in her paintings.

Seasons of Hope
It is weird to think about autumn when spring has just started here. I think fall stands for hope and preparation: Mother Earth is almost ready for her annual slumber ( winter) and hope because it is a time for counting our blessings before hibernation. Maybe this tag doesn't do justice to the beauty of autumn but when I created it I could only think of the warmth of spring and how much I love fairies.

I love Chelin Sanjuan!
"...the art of Chelin Sanjuan stands out for its polished technique. Her drawing is clean, with steady and secure lines, while dynamic, showing a balanced and serene usage of color, mainly warm tones. She copes with easiness in the most realistic pictorial lines, but also in more imaginative and surrealist fields. Each painting is an unique world, magical, intimate, with hidden elements and transparent shapes that mix with softness.
The characters -women, children and animals, particularly cats- that appear in her paintings have an interesting close relationship between them, always showing a small point of humor. Figurative art, of sharp and polished shapes, but delicate in the topics and always lively in the contents, without doubt a very personal style, not influenced by gestural and pseudodecorative artistic trends. "A flower in the deserts", I thought the first time I saw her works."

Chelin Sanjuan was born on May 1st, 1967 in Zaragoza, Spain.
About her painting style, her surrealist and hyperrealism trends, moved on to some kind of magic realism, mixing reality with fantasy, old elements and new ones, with an optimistic and fresh narrative, full of messages, that give to her paintings a characteristic touch.
Chelin Sanjuan is one of my favourite artists. I love her delicate surreal paintings

Happy!!!!!!!!!!
It was my friend's wedding last Saturday and we took this photo to celebrate our happiness. So here is my positive affirmation: I am happy for her. It was an unforgettable moment for all of us. She is the one with red hair. I am on the right, wearing blue. My daughter is right beside me on the background too. We were making faces in a photo booth. We laughed a lot! Everybody took photos in the booth with the bride and the groom and the photo was a gift from them to the guests.
We five have been friends for such a long time and I am grateful for having them in my life. My affirmation is from a song called "Happy". Below is the video.
