T stands for Love

Good Morning My Lovelies!

Today I don't want any coffee. It's very hot so just a glass of passion fruit juice for me which is my favourite one. We are never satisfied. I wish I could be contemplating some snow from my window right now but I've never seen it. As a matter of fact, this is what I see from my window:

The water is very clear and inviting.

But I don't dare going to the beach.

The sun is very intense today and I believe it must be around 35°C.

Here is another creation from my poetry book, I used watercolor pencils to color my little girl,.The poem and the drawing is a tribute to my furry friend Babi. She is sick and the vet suspects it is osteomyelitis again. I don't want to make her suffer another amputation so I have been quite blue since I got the diagnosis. Life is strange. It always finds a way to hurt us somehow.

The little girl in the drawing is me. The puppy is Babi. I am just five right now and I am glad she is still here with me, lying down on the floor under my chair as I write this text.

Have a magical week my friends and don't forget to visit Elizabeth!

Hugs,
Karla

  7. I'm sorry about the bad news you got about your beloved pet. :(

I've never had passionfruit. Your beach looks tempting to me. We don't have snow, but it's damp and chilly here.

    Happy T Tuesday

  8. So very sorry to hear about Babi Karla. My heart hurts for you, as I went through the same thing last year.......I still cry when I think of my dog.
I think I would choose the view from your window any time of the year.....just breath taking! No snow here, but there is frost on the roof tops this morning so it is chilly. Since we live in California ( not near beach at all) we only see snow on the mountains around us, if it is cold enough.
Happy T-day......keeping you and Babi in my prayers

  9. Oh Karla, I feel so bad for you and Babi. I know when I lost my cat named Dog, I didn't want another cat for three years. But when Bleubeard came into my life, all that changed. I hope you have Babi for awhile longer and Babi is not in pain.

I have never had passion fruit, so I would join you for some any day. And I would gladly give you the ice storm that we had over the weekend. I'd take those views from your window any day, too. But like you, I would stay out of the sun.

Thanks for sharing your beloved Babi and your passion fruit drink with us for T this Tuesday. I will keep Babi (and you, of course) in my thoughts as the days go by.

  11. Your poor Babi. She looks like a lovely dog. It's so hard to see our fur babies suffer and also hard to let them go. We're on dog #10. We always say we'll never get another because it's so hard losing them. But then, we do. They bring so much love and joy into a home. My heart goes out to you, Karla.

Beautiful views from your window, but I know what you mean about not wanting to even step outside! Stay cool.
