T stands for Travel

Hello My T-Friends!

How are you today? I hpe you are well. As I told you I travelled last week to a small city in the north of Rio de Janeiro. There are 15 beaches there and they are fascinating. It is a very quiet city and it is perfect if you want to relax.
I spent five magical days, enjoying the landscape, listening to the waves breaking on the shore. Here are some photos.

My daughter enjoying the scenery.

You can see a lot of turtles in the sea from here. It's amazing.

It was very windy and I am dishevelled ha ha ha. A lot of artisans sell their goods here. I bought a lovely Frida Kahlo painting ( naive art).

Look at this fabulous graffitti on this house. What a lovely street art!

My daughter and me.

Here is a friend of mine. We've been friends for over 30 years. She lives there. My daughter is the smiling girl taking the photo.

Don't forget to visit Elizabeth

Hugs,
Karla

  3. Unlike Linda and you, I am not much for the beach. I live in a land locked area, so getting to the beach in any direction would take at least a day. But I'm also not fond of crowds, sand in my feet, and sunburn.

What I enjoyed was seeing YOU have so much fun with your daughter and friend. And the fun you had taking all those lovely photos. I also enjoyed the mugs and jam waiting so the coffee or cappuccino wouldn't get cold. It's a gorgeous digital entry.

Thanks for sharing your travel photos and your beautiful coffee inspired art with us for T this Tuesday.

It looks like you had a wonderful time on your travels, what could be better then being by the beach and listening to the waves crash on the shore :-). I bet the market stalls were facinating and so colourful! Wishing you a Happy T Day! Jo x

  12. What lovely photos! I'm not much of a beachbaby, as I don't like crowds and busy beaches. The place you went to looks really nice and quiet. You didn't mention where it was. Well, that is your secret....
It's was great to see photos of you and your daughter (and your friend). You all look very happy.
The craft stalls look interesting, but they were empty in your photo.
You have touched on two of my favorite things: Frida Kahlo and street art/grafitti.
Frida Kahlo? She is my favorite artist. I have a pinterest page with photos of her (and Diego too)(https://es.pinterest.com/liscameijer/frida/).
I like grafitti and street art, because I lived in Bristol (UK) for many years and have grown to appreciate the different street artists. Banksy is a Bristol street artist (now world famous). Needless to say I also have a Pinterest page on street art. (https://es.pinterest.com/liscameijer/street-art-grafitti/)
    Happy T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca
