T stands for Friends

Hello My Good Friends!

It's been awhile since I joined you for T stands for Tuesday. Paint Party Friday and also Show your Face. So many sad things happened. I lost my cousin who was like a brother to me. How difficult it's been to face the fact he's not here anymore. We are still in mourning and it will take long to get over our pain and sadness. We are devastated. Time will heal us. Time always heals.
I made a journal page and I want to share it with you.
I think art journaling is a therapy. It keeps my mind off my problems and helps me to cure my heart.

“You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly—that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp.”
― Anne Lamott

Have an inspiring week!

  4. I was saddened by the loss of your cousin. I was truly inspired by that quote, because I believe it's true. I've learned to dance with that proverbial limp after the loss of my grandparents (who raised me). Time lessens the pain, but even after all these years, someone says something, or I smell something that brings one or the other back into my thoughts.

Art truly does seem to heal. I'm so glad it is helping you. I also love the digital art you made this week. The coffee art is simply gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your week AND your art with us for T this week.

  15. Losing someone special to you is so hard to deal with... I hope your art helps. I'm sure it will.
I'm sure your cousin wouldn't want you to suffer. Concentrate on all the good times and I'm sure you'll find your smile once again.
It may take some time, but it'll come.
