T stands for life

Hello Elizabeth!Hello My Lovelies!

How are you all?Hope everything is under control. Life follows its flux of wonder and each day is a box of  surprises: a daughter gets sick, taxes and more taxes getting high here, students who don't want to study, students who worry about  death, violence and poverty, DST  days are over, my tiredness (sic), and the  Oscar goes to...blah,  blah, blah.
Yes, life happens whether we want or not. Sometimes we are too blind to see that. I think it's a  miracle to be alive. So, let's celebrate the magic that only the routine brings. We are dreamy beings but it is the sameness that anchors us to life. I may be wrong and I'd like to hear what you think about that.
Before I go, I'd like to leave you a quote:

Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.
― Gilda Radner

Some photos I took yesterday from Guanabara Bay when I was going to work. This  is what I see on Mondays and Wednesdays. My beautiful aquatic routine.

For

T stands for Tuesday

I used elements from Colorel in my piece.

Have a magical day!

Hugs,
Karla

  3. I adore your new blog banner and your gorgeous digital art piece. I felt like the gal was a queen when I saw that art piece. I couldn't agree with you more about celebrating the everyday events. I think we can find good in any and everything if we look hard enough. Sometimes we don't have to look at all. In fact, I would NEVER have to look if I had that view on the way to work. What relaxing and enjoyable scenery.

Thanks for sharing your lovely art and your great photos with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.

  7. Now that is some view on the way to work! :)
Great quote. My life was so crazy for so long that I revel in the quietness and routine of my life these past ten years. The only thing we can truly count on is change. I am glad mine have been more subtle and joyous...and hope they stay that way. ;)
    Happy T-Day! :)
