Zen Girl

It took me two days to finish my journal pages. I didn't want the black color to pop out and it was definetely quite a challenge to zentangle her hair and then only use 2 kinds of green and pink to color it. My daughter kept saying: " she's so serious mom!". My mother loved her but mothers are suspicious beings. I love zentangles. It is a passion.

i can imagine that it took hours with all these wonderful details
i love how kids just say what they think
and yes moms- the nature of us and the years we have behind us, we attempt to think before we speak and to be kind
could you imagine if kids left comments on blogs ;-)

  13. I like all the patterns and she does look serious but the sparkles in her eyes makes her a little less serious, great take on the SOC colors.

  22. I thought I had already been here to see this beauty, but I was surprised when I clicked on the link and saw this gal. I have never been able to zentangle. To me it's a chore and it HURTS my hand. I think I grip too tightly, but can't seem to loosen up. However, you make it look so awesome. I'm sure it's hard to only use three colors, but you did such a good job deciding which went where. She may be serious, but I'd say more pensive. Regardless, I love what you did with the SOC colors this week.
