Hello Elizabeth! Hello everyone!
Hope you are well wherever you are. I have a secret: I have always been fond of hugging annd climbing trees. I read the other day that when we hug a tree, we reconnect to the natural world because the vibration of the plant affects us deeply since it absorbs our negative energies, replacing them with healthy ones. Isn't that fantastic? Do you believe it is possible? We still have so many fabulous trees in Brazil. They are our protection when the weather is hot. Nothing like a long dark shadow of an old tree.

And
my favourite tree: flamboyant tree

T stands for Tuesday
Have a magical day!
Hugs,
Karla
What VERY beautiful trees!! I love trees and stroke their bark if I can get close enough. I truly hate to see trees being cut down and am known to attribute human emotions to them, like wondering if it hurts. (gosh did I just admit that out loud?!) I know you can keep a secret Karla ;) Happy T Day. Stay cool {{Hugs}}
ResponderExcluirps - thank you for your visit to my blog today too :-D
ResponderExcluirI have put my arms around a tree and closed my eyes and it feels so good, I dont care if I look silly LOL. I am curious about the name of your blog POETIC POSTCARDS. Are you into postcards? I ask because I joined Postcrossing which you will read about on my blog posts

ooh what beautiful trees! I love your art and quote too. It certainly doesn't hurt to hug a tree. I know that there is much about trees and connections with the underworld that the Irish believe in and I personally would love to have that experience too. Happy T day!
ResponderExcluirThank you for sharing the trees! I love hugging oak trees the best of all the ones I've hugged. I accidentally bit an orange tree as a child, it was highly unpleasant for us both.
ResponderExcluirI would gladly join your lovely lady under the tree for coffee. It looks magical indeed. As for the trees, they are SO different from any I have seen before. So unlike what I have seen in America. Your flamboyant tree is gorgeous.
ResponderExcluirThanks for sharing your trees and your lovely lady sitting under them for T this week. Yes, I've hugged trees, too!
I really love your art piece of an old tree and a beautiful woman image. Lovely work, Soul Sister.
ResponderExcluirYes, I know that many people get strength and balans from hugging trees, and believe it.
Thanks for the tree photos, too.
LOVE the trees and your post card is wonderful. It broke my heart to have to remove two of our 30 year old tress this year. I miss the shade and the grandeur of them. With the one in the front gone, our house has NO curb appeal at all, looks so boring and blaaaaah.
ResponderExcluirHappy T-day......now I'll go hug my surviving tree ;)
That is such a cool theory about trees. I'm inclined to believe it.
ResponderExcluirHello and Happy T Day! I LOVE trees, all kinds/shapes/sizes all trees. These are GORGEOUS ones, makes me want to hug a tree right now. I totally believe that, just seeing trees makes my heart happy so hugging them must be even better.
ResponderExcluirThanks so much for sharing these with us.
Thank you for sharing these lovely trees with us.
ResponderExcluirNature is full of wonder and magic and getting grounded by hugging trees or walking barefoot on the earth are powerful things!
Makes me think of the quote "trees are our best antiques" (I believe it is)
Lovely digital art with the perfect quote!
Happy T Day Karla

Awesome trees and art!!
ResponderExcluirStunning trees! I totally can believe that trees could dissipate or absorb negative energies. That's wonderful! Keep hugging! Happy T-Day! :)
ResponderExcluirLove your lady in the tree! The other trees are stunningly beautiful - I'd happily hug each one of them! Happy T day, Chrisx
ResponderExcluirLove the art and those trees are truly beautiful♥♥♥♥
