What makes you happy?

Happiness is a form of courage.
Holbrook Jackson

Hello everyone! How are you today? Hope life has been treating you well. So tell me what is your concept of happiness? Does it exist? Do you believe in it? In my opinion, happiness has many hues. It can be so many things. But above all, happiness is a form of a courage because we find more reasons to be unhappy than happy nowadays. We tend to think that we need this and that to be happy when we just need ourselves. I may be wrong though. So i am all ears. What makes you happy?

  8. Love the cheeky look on her face :-) When I think about it, it's the things that don't cost anything that make me most happy, like bright colours, a sunny day, being able to paint and play ....

  13. Super painting and great questions, Karla.
I believe happiness is found through enjoying the little things in life and the large things too like art and blogging, and that's no answer at all.

  14. Saucy looking Courage Diva. Love it. People think that happiness just happens, but, especially as you age, you have to put some effort into it -- I've always used good friends, the arts and music to lift me into a happier sense of being. Thanks for your post!

  15. Love your piece. I think happiness is what we make it to be. To enjoy small things makes me happy most times. A sunray in the gras, lots of different colors, hearing the birds sing and so on. I'm an easy person to make happy. Negative thinking is the largest obstacle to happiness in my opinion.

  16. I've seen happy people bed ridden in nursing homes and unhappy people with health and wealth. It's a state of mind. Be intentional about your happiness. Love your piece and your new banner.

  18. Art and friends make me happy and you are a big contributor...I think we have to choose to be happy, I think a big part of happiness is being grateful for the many wonderful things in life and focusing on the positive.
I like your use of bright colors and your unique bold style.
