The kiss I miss

“Stephen kissed me in the spring,
Robin in the fall,
But Colin only looked at me
And never kissed at all.

Stephen’s kiss was lost in jest,
Robin’s lost in play,
But the kiss in Colin’s eyes
Haunts me night and day.”

  6. She dreams that the Colin's kiss should have been a "coup de foudre"!
("coup de foudre" in french may be traducted by "to fall in love at first sight", but it means litteraly "lightning strike")

  12. The silhouette almost merging into the background is so clever and original, and the poem matches it so well. Lovely
