Light x Shadow

Human beings carry both light and shadow, and the struggle between good and bad is eternal. Only you can make a choice and decide which path is the best one for you.

"'Deus e o Diabo é que guiam, mais ninguém!

Todos tiveram pai, todos tiveram mãe;

Mas eu, que nunca principio nem acabo,

Nasci do amor que há entre Deus e o Diabo."

José Régio

I translated the poem but it loses the original rhymes and rhythm in English. However, the meaning was kept. José Régio is from Portugal.

"God and the Devil are the ones who guide—no one else!

Everyone had a father, everyone had a mother;

But I, who have neither beginning nor end, Was born of the love between God and the Devil."
