Every leaf is a flower
“You can
cut all the flowers but you cannot keep Spring from coming.”
― Pablo Neruda
Autumn arrived here at 1:31 am today. So I am paying my tribute to one of my favourite seasons.
“Autumn is
a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”
― Albert Camus

Imbolc
Imbolc
Night
Imbolc
candles burn so bright,
On
windows sills they sit
They
call the Sun to see the light;
Through
eve we keep them lit
We plow
the field to sow the seeds,
As
winter begins to die
Brigid’s
bed made and crosses weaved
On our
altar they so lie
Candle
flames surround the night
With
love our circle’s cast
Promise of spring, we honor Brigid
The time
has now come at last
~ written by Lady Caer Morganna
Imbolc marks the early signs of Spring, such a snowdrops and crocuses, and the lengthening of days. The lighting of fires and candles represent the return of the Sun. We honor the Goddess Brighid as the waiting bride of the returning Sun God, and we celebrate a ritual of cleansing and purification.

Ostara
Ode To Ostara
Ode to Ostara, Goddess of Spring,
Goddess of fertile new beginning.
Goddess of hope, Goddess of bloom,
Goddess of all the life held in a womb.
As the wind kisses her plentiful hair,
Scent of new blossoms fills each whiff of air;
As she treads lightly on frozen earth crest,
One thousand butterflies rise from their rest.
As she strokes gently and gives the plants hopes,
Rainbows bloom over the vales and hill tops;
As she gazes up the lovely blue skies,
Larks charm the world with their musical cries.
Ode to thee, the smile in a flower,
Ode to thee, the life in rain shower;
Ode to thee, the Goddess of Spring
For all the blessings that you always bring.

Beltane
Queen of May
The leaves are budding across the land
on the ash and oak and hawthorn trees.
Magic rises around us in the forest
and the hedges are filled with laughter and love.
Dear lady, we offer you a gift,
a gathering of flowers picked by our hands,
woven into the circle of endless life.
The bright colors of nature herself
blend together to honor you,
Queen of spring,
as we give you honor this day.
Spring is here and the land is fertile,
ready to offer up gifts in your name.
we pay you tribute, our lady,
daughter of the Fae
and ask your blessing this Beltane.
