Hello T-Gang!
I hope you are well. I can't believe spring starts on wednesday. It's my favourite season. 2017 is almost on the corner and I am sure many people are eager for the new year and I am one of them. 2016 has been tough. The best part is the fact that we always learn something when life is giving us lemons. I don't have any plans right now. Sometimes I think living is an act of braveness in my country. Well, I am going to leave you now with some photos my daughter took from Rio de Janeiro - my home.

This one was taken during The Olympic Games.

Strawberries - I love them!
Brazilian Flowers - what a delight!
Here is Yemanjá - she is the goddess of the sea and you find her statue in many beaches here. We honor her on December 31 or January 1. This portrait was painted on white tiles. I think it is so beautiful.

I love your Rio art because when I think of Rio, much of what I love involves the girl from Ipanema and coffee. Your lovely art could represent both. And yes, I love my coffee, too.
ResponderExcluirYour daughter is beautiful, and I've always admired her photos. Their composition is flawless, and they are always relaxing and enjoying to view. I also like to see your area of Rio where you live.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos and your coffee art with us for T this Tuesday. How is your mother?
That coffee girl looks like she is now complete and she was waiting for that first sip. Rio is certainly beautiful. Your daughter takes some wonderful photos. I love the views and those strawberries. Yum. Happy spring- just 2 more days. My 2016 is't as tough as my 2015 was- that was one terrible year for me. Hope the rest of this year is better for you. Happy PPF-hugs-Erika

Oooo, that scenery! What a beautiful place you live in :) I googled the goddess and found her described at Wikipedia as "motherly and strongly protective, and cares deeply for all her children, comforting them and cleansing them of sorrow." I like that. Happy T Tuesday
