The concept of beauty has always haunted me as a human being and as a teacher. It is so subjective and it is a strange process because we need the other to comprehend and apprehend/grasp it. It also makes me think of a poem written by Keats when he says:
“Beauty is truth, truth beauty”
Well, Ann, Bev and Marie gave me food for thought again and here is my contribution.Nah! It is not my simple card but the photo, I've always loved that lady's picture. Her dreamy eyes express much more than beauty or truth. They symbolize a lost era, a time of romanticism and chivalry and as I grow old, I miss things which might be forgotten around our absurd, insane world.
Have a magical day!

I love your words and the poem, Karla, and yes, she is a beauty. Take a bow, my friend.
ResponderExcluirA great collage, Karla. There's still beauty to be found in the smallest of things, but it does seem harder to find in our "insane world", as you put it. Lovely art, though!
ResponderExcluirBeauty is inside us and different to every person. Beautiful card!
ResponderExcluirLove that beautiful soul, Keats :) I often have feelings akin to yours about these time in which we live and think that creative energies help the scales from tipping any more toward the craziness. At least I hope that's the case. Love your beautiful card :)
