Blue /Azul.

It is weird to think of snow when it is so hot here. It is summer and it's been sunny during the morning and windy in the evening. I used oil pastels with turpentine to colour the girl and the bear but the snow was added digitally.

A neve foi adicionada digitalmente. Usei óleo pastel e terebentina para pintar a menina e o ursinho.

  5. I love the idea of flowers falling like snow! Would that be wonderful, no cold, no ice...she's a beautiful cheery lady! Happy weekend!

  6. I can see how it would be hard to create snow when it's so hot outside. The fact your seasons are turned upside down to those of us in the northern hemisphere speaks to the beauty of your art. This is lovely.

  13. It looks a bit like a mix between our winter and your summer: snow but also flowers falling out of the sky :-) Lovely work dear Karla!

  15. I bet it is hard to think of snow when you are having such hot weather! We are in the midst of winter here in Pennsylvania! I love the wonderful work of art you made!

  16. A beautiful illustration Karla, it must be difficult to create when the sun's shining. We actually have snow covering the ground here, so it's nice to even hear about someone having hot and sunny weather. I think the sun is forgetting where we live. We haven't seen it for over a week!
    Happy PPF to you
