T stands for Books

Hello My Lovelies!

How are you today? Hope life has been treating you well. Last Friday, my friends and I took our students to the International Book Biennial 2015. There were various publishing houses showcasing their published books and some were very cheap. We had fun!
My friends and me. I am the second on the left wearing glasses.
We have been working together for such a long time. It's a blessing when our colleagues are our friends too.

Johnny and me. I love him!He is one of my favourite actors. Who is yours?

Now let's have some coffee
We love bread and butter here

My old mug - Did I tell you we love strong coffee and ...

 coffee with milk?

And you?
What have you been doing?

  1. Oh Karla, this is wonderful. Coffee is such a mainstay in Brazil, and I learned that at the turn of the 20th century, it was the biggest export, too. I don't think I've ever had Brazilian coffee, although I may have had it under a different roast, since I am a French Roast gal for the most part. Your coffee looks strong enough, but not "white" enough for me. I am sure I would love your coffee, though.

You look happy with your colleagues and friends. I hope this means you are staying together and won't be separated into different schools. Your students look happy, too.

Thanks for sharing your bread, coffee, students, and friends with us for T this Tuesday (or soon to be Tuesday).

  4. Looks as it was the perfect day at the book exhibition - I like butter and bread as well.. that's always fab.. I also like fresh dark sourdough bread with butter ... but I don't eat it often, because I can't resist to eat more than one slice.
My favourite actor is Harvey Keitel.
    Happy T-Day Karla!

  5. So nice to se you Karla-and amongst friends AND your favorite actor:):) I too love a good strong coffee with some non fat milk. I swear the French have bread and butter at every meal and it's where my son got hooked on it. Now that he's home again for awhile I do buy bread but not for every day as I don't eat it and don't want to be tempted:) Happy T day!

  6. It is great when co-workers become such good friends! It looks like you had a wonderful time at the book show. Although I am not a coffee drinker, I do enjoy a rare espresso, and I would imagine the strength compares to your Brazilian coffee. My heritage is Italian--so bread? Yes, please!!!

  11. Oh Karla,
What a treat to see you with your friends and students. My hubby is Dutch and was brought up with dark coffee my one friend friend is German. We all even though I am Canadian like dark coffee. Only I have to have it so it looks more creamier I am the dead beat in the group. . Oh the other food items. We love them in Canada. Wow your students must love you. You look so friendly. My favorite actor is George Cloony. He's my hunk. Not sure if all his movies are up to par but just looking at his handsome face it makes up for it. He is in Toronto this week. Left wivey at home. He may be producing a movie.
