Does caffeine make you creative?

Hello Elizabeth! Hello Everybody!

What's the weather like in your corner of the world? Well, although it is Spring here, It's been steaming hot. I can foresee an unbearable Summer. Hot sunny days are beautiful in postcards only. In real life, things are pretty much different. We feel tired and mellow. It's awful even to go to the beach. Anyway, I hope we can survive till there. It's been 35º C since last Thursday! There has already been a shortage of water in some states of Brazil too for months. I am worried. Water is so essential to one's life. Hope we can find a way here. Hope rain comes to São Paulo and Minas Gerais. Have a magical day, my lovelies!

  1. I wish that Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais get rain soon... we have wet weather ... soupy and it is getting into the winter season..snow in the western part of our country in the big mountains the skiing season started soon this year. Yes you are right - water is essential and an important thing on earth and we have to handle it carefully and frugally. Your piece is beautiful! I gave up caffein 4 month ago .. and what shall I say.. my creativity seems to be still there...lol- but I recently discovered for myself cereal based coffee and malt coffee (both naturally without coffein) for me beneath herbal teas....
I feel with you -must be unbearable hot ♥♥♥

  3. I love your creation, so full ofcolour and depth. I also had to give up real tea a few months ago (never drank coffee), but it was something I had to do for my health. Now I drink herbal or fruit infusions.

  4. I began conserving water years ago. I recycle all my "gray water" and supplement my herb garden with it. I know water is very, very important, so I feel for you and your entire country. Also, sorry to read it's so hot there already. I hope that doesn't mean we're in for another extra cold winter.

I am a caffeine addict, so I hope it keeps me creative. Without it, I'd experience so many headaches I'd never get anything accomplished (like getting out of bed).

Thanks for sharing this beautiful warm art with us for T this Tuesday because Bleubeard and I both love it. And please have another cup of caffeine on me today!!

  5. Yes coffee is good for keeping my brain working sometimes... Hahaha!
This collage is awesome, do you drink coffee during you are working?

Here, I'm cold, because fresh air had come abruptly.
We had a very hot indien summer until few days ago.
And it seems that eaters are not enough for keeping us warm.
    Haaaa, a good 35°!! :D
And last month, we had a lot of water, making inundations everywhere, with death and total destruction of entire villages... Snort, as everything, water is not well dispatched! :(
Courage my friend, lets be still alive and kicking!

  7. Hello and Happy T Day! What a gorgeous picture. I have my 2 cups of tea each day but I think it makes me want to curl up and read instead of being creative, lol. The weather here is fall and some days it feels like it and others it has already felt like winter. I can't stand the heat either, YUCK! Fall is my favorite, not too cold or warm and the colors everywhere are pretty. Sorry to hear about the rain, hope you will get a good rain shower soon.
Thanks so much for sharing and have a great day!

  9. We have finally had a day of long awaited rain here (California) We still need rain and some snow in the mountains to help heal from the drought conditions. It is just tuning much cooler here as we might even get to have winter this year...LOL
I agree with Linda, your art would make the best poster.
    Happy T-day

  10. Here in California we are in the same boat as you. Little to no rain. What we wouldn't give for a good rainy season. The rainy season has been pretty dry for three years.

My cat Jinx was sitting in my lap when i pulled up your blog and he was VERY interested in your windchimes. :) Lovely postcard. So glad to see you this T Day! Hugs! deb

  11. Gorgeous and fun digital art! as to the question, coffee gets my eyes open and my brain working, so yes, I suppose it does get my creativity going. Never thought about that! I do hope your heat wave eases up a bit and you get some rain. Here in Ohio in the US it is Fall, and our temperatures are getting cool. Lovely sunshine today and 60 degrees Fahrenheit. A few colorful leaves left on the trees, but much raking to be done! Happy T Day!

  12. We have just had to start cutting down on caffeine - hubby has high blood pressure and nurse said to cut down so we are alternating with decaff! Meh!!! Hope the heat doesn't become too unbearable! Happy T day! Chris

  13. Oh my word, I wish you rain, indeed I do. I love coffee, but I drink decaff in my middle age, so I have to say that despite my belief, I don't think caffeine helps me!

  15. Winter in the air here. 44 degrees, but was 30 this morning.
Caffeine doesn't make me creative, but I think it keeps me awake so I can be sometimes--LOL! ;)
    Happy T-Day!! :)
