Enchanted Time

This week challenge at Take a Word is Memories and I wanted to share something that enchanted me when I was a little girl in late 60's, I wanted to share what brought magic into my life in that time of darkness for so many of us in my country.
Topo Gigio was  a lovely mouse with dreamy eyes. I still remember when I got him as a gift from mum. It was an unforgettable day! Topo Gigio was my favourite program and doll toy for a long time and I confess I still love him because he will always be part of one of the best moments in my life.

There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again.

  1. What a lovely softly coloured collage. I can see that there in your header is a nice figure which looks little like your chilhood's dear Topo Gigio!

  3. I loved Topo Gigio growing up too! I remember loving the part where he would say, "a la camita," before going to sleep at the end of the show. Blessings!

  7. That's a beautiful memory and a gorgeous creation, so intricately composed. The Lawrence quotation makes it just that bit more special too. I've never heard of Topo, but I am sure my children would have loved him too - characters like him provide a place of safety for children in their minds.
