Hello my T-Friends!
I am a bit late today. I hope you are well. Last week my friends and I went to a protest against the new labor and social security reforms. Thousands and thousands people were there. It ended in a clash with the police. 19 capitals protested too. Some photos below:
My friends and I. We work together at the same school.
I am between the two ladies.
I hope those reforms never happen. Otherwise we will spend our life working and retire at almost 70. Neo-liberalism destroys everything. It enslaves people. Although I was born during dictatorship, my father taught me to have wings and to think big. So if I can fight, I will.
I am glad art can help me to overcome my fears. I created the page below for Color Me Positive 2017.
Hope you have a magical week, full of positive vibe. Don't forget to visit Elizabeth and join T stands for Tuesday.
Hugs,
Karla
wow that is one huge protest! Hopefully others will listen and rectify the situation. At least it appears it was a peaceful protest.
ResponderExcluirYour page is so beautiful and full of hope and faith. Happy T day Karla!
Good evening Karla, wow that is allot of people protesting! I am not much into crowds like that anymore but sometimes we just need too.
ResponderExcluirLove your art-hugs Kathy
That overhead photo reminds me of the million woman march that occurred the day after Trump was sworn into office. Nothing has happened, even after the march, but I hope it works in Brazil better than ours did across the world.
ResponderExcluirI love your photos of the march and also love the beautiful digital coffee cup you prepared for us this week. Sorry I'm so late visiting, but I've also been running behind. Thanks for joining in at T this Tuesday with your march and your beautiful art, and coffee, too.
What a lovely calm page in the face of fear. Yes, hang onto your art, Karla.
ResponderExcluirHappy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
Oh my goodness, what huge groups of protestors. Good for you speaking out! Hope all works out for the best. We in the U.S. must work until we are 65-67 to retire, except those who are quite wealthy. Beautiful art work you've shared. Keep thinking positive!💜
