Hello My Good Friends!
Another year begins and we have 361 days to make things happen again. I hope our muses keep on inspiring us so that we can have another creative year.
Before I go I'd like share the first page I've created in 2026:
And I'd also like to share a poem:
The Year
by Ella
Wheeler Wilcox (1910)
What can be
said in New Year rhymes,
That’s not
been said a thousand times?
The new
years come, the old years go,
We know we
dream, we dream we know.
We rise up
laughing with the light,
We lie down
weeping with the night.
We hug the
world until it stings,
We curse it
then and sigh for wings.
We live, we
love, we woo, we wed,
We wreathe
our brides, we sheet our dead.
We laugh,
we weep, we hope, we fear,
And that’s
the burden of the year.
And a video about The Olympic Games :
Have a magical day!
Hugs,
Karla

This is beautiful art today, Karla. I love the bird on the coffee cup, and of course, I have that song running through my mind now, too. This truly IS the best year of our lives. I love the tree, and the video showed places I have actually become familiar with.
ResponderExcluirThanks for sharing the poem, the art, and the video with us for T this Tuesday. And I hope this new year is going well for you, too.
