Hello Elizabeth!Hello My Lovelies!
How are you all doing? Hope you are well. Today I didn't work so I could spend some time painting and drawing. How I love creating! I love colors and textures. I wish we had in Brazil all the incredible supplies you have there. Can't find watercolor soluble crayons anywhere here as well as some other materials. But I can't complain. Things could be worse.
Today I am going to share some Brazilian artists with you. Are you prepared? So here we go.

Nanda Corrêa

Well, Elizabeth was visiting Deb, and trying to explain the Pay-It-Forward aspect of the ATC exchange (grin). Thanks for this. I adore it, and I assume this lovely beauty is trying to find me. How sweet.
ResponderExcluirI have never owned the water soluble pastels, either. They are too pricy for me. If I could, I would send you some, though. I use the OIL pastels, which are extremely cheap, but must be mixed with turpentine or a synthetic substitute. I try to find ways around art supplies I don't own or can't afford. After all, I AM the Queen of Free!
Thanks for this beautiful entry for T today, since you know I love my coffee, too. And thanks for sharing these incredible, and I mean INCREDIBLE artists with us. All are out of this world.
I use oil pastels with turpentine all the time and watercolor pencils too but I'd like to try water soluble pastels. It's mere curiosity. I have never seen one in my life. Didn't know they were that expensive.I try to find ways around too specially because some supplies can't be found here like Copics or Neocolor pencils so you have to import them and they are pricy as you've said. Or we can find them but they very very expensive.Art doesn't need expensive materials but inspired people. I am glad you and I and many others are. I am glad we can bring some beauty to the world.Let me forget the crayons. They will never be part of my life.:)
ExcluirLove your T-DAY piece and the wonderful artist's work you show us !
ResponderExcluirThe Neocolor II crayons are fab since they are so high pigmented, but watersoluble pencils do nearly the same good job!
And nromal watercolors are also fine!
A real artist makes art out of nothing! LOL!
So many people just buy and collect supplies and you never see real good things from them...

ResponderExcluirWOW what a lot of wonderful creativity you've shared with us from your beautiful country dear Karla!
ResponderExcluirYour "Where is Elizabeth" creation is super too.
OK I believe the universe is speaking because I have recently been clearing out trying to bring some order and I found a box of 12 of the water soluble oil pastels that I had intended to offer in a giveaway some time ago...but I was not very organized and my 'idea' never come to life. That said I would like to tell you that you are the winner of my giveaway :-) :-) :-)
If you send me your mailing address I can pop them in the mail to you. They have been waiting for a good home (and by the way they were not all that expensive because I bought them with a coupon).
Happy T Day to you.
