[E]very winter,
When the great sun has turned his face away,
The earth goes down into the vale of grief,
And fasts, and weeps, and shrouds herself in sables,
Leaving her wedding-garlands to decay—
Then leaps in spring to his returning kisses...

Poetic Postcards
Oh this is so Chrstmas sweet. Your poems are so nice with the cards.
ResponderExcluirWhen I see you come up on the bloger list coming in. I love to go into your blog and make a comment when I am on line
. My hubby gives to cancer, heart, all charities like that. I have like over 400 hundred cards here looking at me
the organizations send us. .
I also give most away to our organizations in town. Special Needsadults. They are taught to use some of the cards for art and others who can write in cards are used for them to send away at Christmas.. I dont let them go to waste.
Plus I make my own cards to mail to family and friends.
This captures the beauty of winter. I'd still like to skip winter, though.
ResponderExcluirHello my friend. This is absolutely fabulous art piece. So delicate shades of winter. I love this, Karla.
ResponderExcluirI'm recovering quite well and make short visits on my favourite blogs.
This is really gorgeous, Karla! I love the softness.
ResponderExcluirDear Karla it is really hard for someone who is freezing their ass off 4 month out of the year to feel sorry for one who has never seen snow. As we speak I have 6 inches of snow and it's still falling and it is -7C. LOL
ResponderExcluirThough you have never seen snow you create wonderful snow pictures this is lovely. I do hope that you get to experience a snowy day at sometime they are really extraordinary if they would just go away after a few hours.
