Hello my lovelies!
Can you believe it is our last T stands for Tuesday in 2015? Yeah...time flies...2015 is one of the most difficult and complicated years I've faced in my life. But life is a hard mission for each of us in so many levels. I hope everything changes for better in my country and in our lives. I am grateful I could take the bull by the horns when I just wanted to sit down and cry. I am grateful for all the blessings we have received too. I hope 2016 can be a year of transformation and understanding not only in Brazil but around the world. We need to forgive, and I myself know how hard it is especially when it is a member of our family who was deeply hurt. Now I look at the horizon and my heart is filled with joy.I won't grieve for what happened but fight for what is right.
I'd like to share with you an Irish Blessing:
May God
give you...
For
every storm, a rainbow,
For
every tear, a smile,
For
every care, a promise,
And a
blessing in each trial.
For
every problem life sends,
A
faithful friend to share,
For
every sigh, a sweet song,
And an
answer for each prayer.
And I also want to share my Hello Kitty cup with you for our last T stands for Thursday in 2015. It's coffee and milk. Would you like some?
And last but not least I'd like to show you one of our traditions:
We toss flowers into the sea on December 31st and January 1st to celebrate Yemanjá - our goddess of the sea.
Most of times people dress in white or blue, light candles on the beach
and offer champagne, mirrors and other things to Yemanjá.
Yemanjá is the mother of salty waters.
If you come to Brazil, you will see statues of Yemanjá in many beaches all over the country here.
May Mother Yemanjá protect you and yours and bless you and yours with peace, health and joy in 2016 and even after.
Here is a tribute to Yemanjá by Maria Bethânia - one of our best singers.
Happy New Year My Friends!
Hugs,
Hugs,
Karla
