Good Morning Elizabeth! Good Morning My Lovelies!
It's 9:45 am and here I am contemplating the beach as I have my breakfast. Life is fabulous and there are people who truly make a difference because of their amazing attitudes. Sometimes we never know about them like the Brazilian
Ambassador Luiz Martins de Souza Dantas, who served in France during the
Holocaust and saved more than 400 jews, grating visas to those who were persecuted by Hitler's regime. I got to know about that a few weeks ago after reading about a thesis of master's degree in History that pays a late homage to Mr Souza Dantas. His attitude made me think not only about generosity but compassion as well. Both walk together and are so important in a world where skin color, nationality, religion, gender and ideas still separate people as if we were different. Life is a hard mission. We here see what is happening in Greece and wonder what we would do if it were here. Greece - we owe a lot to you!Philosophy, Mathematics, Dialetics, Rhetorics, Poetics, almost everything you have taught us. What a great nation Greece is! And I also owe a lot to Patty who has taught me again what generosity is. Thanks for the gift. Thanks for still keeping your heart open: YOUR HEART OF GOLD.
Thank you, my friend
Hugs,
Karla
A beach view over breakfast sounds like a treat. I'm looking out onto my patio plants, but a beach would be a nice change :)
ResponderExcluirThe situation in Greece is troubling. We do owe them a great debt.

ExcluirPatty's gift to you was truly an act of love. And we know it came from the heART, too. So glad you paid homage to her.
ResponderExcluirI am looking forward to seeing your beach photos. One of the smaller beaches or the famous Ipanema or Copacobana? Guess you can tell I'm researching Brazil about now. Of course, it looks like you are partying with us for breakfast, too.
Thanks for sharing your breakfast and the lovely gift you received from Patty with us for T this special Tuesday.
