Hello Elizabeth!Hello My Lovelies!
Hope everything is well at your end. Do you like sweets?I do. Have I told you my daughter makes sweet to sell? Well, she wants to have a bakery some day. It is so good to be young: everything is possible. She's even got a page on Facebook. I love to see her cooking and her passion for gastronomy in general. She cooks, adorns the sweets and even delivers them. I like her effort to be good at what she does. She makes me proud.
Some photos of her sweets:
INGREDIENTS
- 1(14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1tablespoon margarine
- 3tablespoons cocoa powder
- DIRECTIONS
- Cook over medium-low heat, stir vigorously the sweetened condensed milk, margarine and cocoa powder.
- Cook the mixture until it thickens enough to show the pan bottom during stirring.
- Pour the mixture in a greased dish and let it cool to room temperature. Take small amounts of the mixture with a teaspoon and make 1 ½ inch balls.
- Roll the balls over chocolate jimmies to decorate.
- Hint: Grease your hands with margarine to make the balls easily.
- The cheapest , low grade sweetened condensed milk is the best to make the brigadeiro because they have more starch on them, which helps the candy to hold the shape.
- Hope you like it!
Karla, I love your rather risque lady who drinks coffee and reads books. I really like her shoes, even though I could never wear them.
ResponderExcluirHow lovely that your daughter has found something she truly enjoys. Looks like her baskets will sell well.
I want to try that recipe once it cools a bit around here. It would be a great gift at Christmas, too. I hope I can replace butter for the margarine, because I don't ever use it. It has too much wax in it for me.
Thanks for joining us for T this Tuesday and sharing your coffee beauty and your recipe for brigadeiro.
Great collage and yummie stuff.... Happy T-Day Karla!
