Mar, Mer, Mare, Sea

The three great elemental sounds in nature are the sound of rain, the sound of wind in a primeval wood, and the sound of outer ocean on a beach”

Raji - my elegant cat

In this photo you can see my cat. He is Raji and somebody put him in my yard
when he was still a baby. Needless to say we fell in love with him. My fur friend
is an elegant man now. He likes staying in and sleeping all day long. I found
a quote to compliment my picture. I am sure Raji would be proud of me.

"I have studied many philosophers and many cats. The wisdom of cats is infinitely superior."

What are friends for?

Bronte

Gotye

Now your bowl is empty

And your feet are cold
And your body cannot stop rocking
I know
It hurts to let go

Since the day we found you

You have been our friend
And your voice still
Echoes in the hallway of this house
But now
It's the end

We will be with you

When you're leaving
We will be with you
When you go
We will be with you
And hold you till you're quiet
It hurts to let you go

We will be with you

You will stay with us

Ps: I love Gotye.

Pinky World

Decadence avec Elegance

The wor(l)d on the wall

Through pink glasses

Next week I am back to work and time will be short to enjoy myself. I don't know why but it is easier to be creative when you are on holidays he he he. My pinky ladies made me feel infinite.
Maybe this is the real aim of art: to make us infinite.

Flamboyant Tree

I took this picture during Summer three years ago. I love this tree. It is majestic. Can't wait for  next Summer just to see it blooming again. It is a Flamboyant and it is one of my favourite trees. I saturated it a bit and it is gorgeous but a Flamboyant Tree is always gorgeous huh!

Alone with myself
The trees bend to caress me
The shade hugs my heart.

Enchanted Time

This week challenge at Take a Word is Memories and I wanted to share something that enchanted me when I was a little girl in late 60's, I wanted to share what brought magic into my life in that time of darkness for so many of us in my country.
Topo Gigio was  a lovely mouse with dreamy eyes. I still remember when I got him as a gift from mum. It was an unforgettable day! Topo Gigio was my favourite program and doll toy for a long time and I confess I still love him because he will always be part of one of the best moments in my life.

There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again.

Holidays in July

This is what I want for my vacations and as matter of fact I am on a 2 week's holiday from work.
I am enjoying myself with my art, buying gifts and things I like. It's a secret but I love promotions. I have been contemplating nature more and more each day. Unfortunately, it is Winter here and I can't go to the beach but I can sing and it is what I have been doing with my daughter and niece.
