Art Journal Journey invited us to play with maps. I chose the map of my own country.The girl wearing mask depicts our carnival, the ball stands for our soccer, the birds symbolize our beautiful fauna and the ribbon is a tribute to Our Lady of Aparecida: our patron saint. Her ribbon is a talisman which brings good luck. It grants you three wishes as long as you wear it around your wrist till it drops off. We are very supertitious.
